FOCUS AND SCOPE

Journal of Accounting, Management, and Economics (AME) focuses on original and rigorous research that advances theoretical, empirical, and methodological knowledge in accounting, management, economics, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal welcomes research addressing significant contemporary issues affecting organizations, markets, institutions, and economies across diverse geographical and institutional contexts.

AME particularly encourages theory-driven, empirically rigorous, comparative, cross-country, longitudinal, and interdisciplinary research that extends existing knowledge and generates meaningful implications for scholarship, professional practice, organizational decision-making, and public policy.
The journal welcomes a range of rigorous research approaches, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, archival, econometric, systematic review, theoretical, and conceptual approaches, provided that the research design is appropriate to the research question and demonstrates a clear scholarly contribution.
AME does not limit its scope to a specific country or region. Research with local or regional settings is welcomed when it provides broader theoretical, methodological, comparative, or policy-relevant insights that contribute to the international literature.
