REFERENCES MANAGEMENT

The Journal of Accounting, Management, and Economics (AME) requires authors to provide accurate, complete, and consistent citations and references.
AME uses the APA 7th edition referencing style. All sources cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and all references listed must be cited in the manuscript.
Authors are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all bibliographic information, including author names, publication year, article title, journal title, volume, issue, page numbers, and DOI or other persistent identifiers where available.
Authors are strongly encouraged to use reputable reference-management software such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote to organize citations and references and to minimize bibliographic errors.
Authors should prioritize relevant and high-quality scholarly sources, particularly peer-reviewed international literature and recent publications. Seminal works may be cited where they provide an essential theoretical or conceptual foundation.
Authors should avoid excessive citation of irrelevant sources, self-citation without clear scholarly justification, citation manipulation, and references that cannot be independently verified.
Where available, DOIs should be provided in their standard URL format. Authors should ensure that references are current, relevant, and directly support the arguments, theoretical framework, methodology, and discussion presented in the manuscript.
